About Us

I wanted to create this organization to give kids an opportunity to experience coding at a young age. At first, coding may seem super difficult and complex, but once you learn the logic behind each line, it becomes like another language. It’s easier to pick up a new language as a kid than as an adult. On a personal level, coding improved my problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. It encouraged me to break complex problems into smaller, more manageable tasks which I tried to solve as efficiently as possible.

How Has Coding Improved My Own Life

Logical Thinking

As mentioned above, coding has changed the way I view and solve problems. This change in methodology has carried over to other aspects of my academics. I take tests question by question now instead of worrying about multiple questions at a time. Coding teaches you there’s a logical process behind everything. As long as you stay calm and follow that process, you’ll reach your final goal.

Future Major

I used to avoid coding because I thought it was too difficult for me. Thus, I planned my future around psychology and business. When I no longer felt like that was the path for me, I gave coding a try. My experience surprised me. I quite enjoy coding now and I plan to major in Data Science in the future. I see this as a much brighter path and look forward to it.

Connections through Coding

Although I’ve known most of my friends before I got into coding, coding has still helped to strengthen those existing bonds. There are a lot of great people out there who are very passionate about coding and computer science as whole. This is a field where you’ll never feel alone and will always be able to find support.

Why Coding?

Coding is necessary for electronic gadgets like smartphones, computers, and tablets to operate properly. Humans can communicate with these devices thanks to coding. Coding is fundamentally a problem-solving method that aids in the analysis of a circumstance or objective before using problem-solving abilities to choose and implement a solution. The tactics used to obtain the desired outcome may lead to a distinct solution.

Communicate

Communication is integral to software engineering. Effective communication reduces costs, increases productivity, saves time, minimizes errors, and develops work cultures. Communication enables the sharing of information to achieve software engineering goals.

Collaborate
In a project that uses collaborative coding, each team member helps build the code and checks it for bugs or errors. Working in pairs or teams helps finished code contain fewer mistakes and bugs, and this results in better code quality and projects being completed more quickly.

Create

Coding creates a set of instructions for computers to follow. These instructions determine what actions a computer can and cannot take. Coding allows programmers to build programs, such as websites and apps. Computer programmers can also tell computers how to process data in better, faster ways.
